Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning repair processes, and performing quality repairs to maintain on-time completion. Communicates repair status with teammates, decides between repair vs. replace based on safety, cost, and cycle time, and handles removal of upholstery, electrical and other components to access areas. Trains or directs an apprentice when needed and participates in safety meetings. Must be proficient with frame machines and power/hand tools; I-CAR welding certification is required and certification in body repair is preferred. Compensation includes commission/flag pay; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k with match, and paid holidays.
