Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning repair, performing quality repairs, and deciding between repair vs. replacement with safety, cost, and cycle time in mind. Works with others on repair status, removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and trim to access components, files/grinds/sands repaired surfaces, directs the work of an apprentice when needed, and participates in safety meetings. Requires frame-machine operation skills and I-CAR welding certification; certification in body repair preferred. Competitive benefits package and a commission/flag pay structure with pay aligned to local minimum wage guarantees. Location: Palatine, IL. Salary range: $65,000 to $175,140 per year.
Required Qualifications

- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
