Job Summary
Examine damaged vehicles to efficiently plan and execute repair processes, making critical decisions on repair versus replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time. Perform quality repairs by removing upholstery, accessories, and trim to access vehicle components, then files, grinds, and sand surfaces using power and hand tools. Work with others to communicate vehicle repair status while participating in required safety meetings. Direct the work of apprentices when needed to explain procedures and resolve unusual problems. Requires frame machine operation, I-CAR welding certification, and ability to supervise personnel. Commission/flag rate structure with guaranteed minimum wage; posted range $65,000–$162,000.

- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data

- Must be able to pass thorough background check
