Auto Body Technician

Examine damaged vehicles to efficiently plan the repair process, then perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status. Remove upholstery, electrical, and trim components to access vehicle areas, followed by filing, grinding, and sanding surfaces using power and hand tools. Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status, making decisions on repair versus replace based on safety, cost, and cycle time. Direct the work of apprentices when needed to explain procedures and resolve unusual problems. Participate in all required safety meetings and utilize frame machines and measuring data analysis skills. This role is part of a multi-shop operator serving over 650 locations across 38 states, supporting the company's "People First" vision in collision repair.
