Job Summary
Examine damaged vehicles, plan repair processes, and perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status. Remove upholstery, accessories, and trim to access vehicle components, then file, grind, and sand surfaces using power and hand tools. Communicate repair status with the team, make decisions on repair versus replacement based on safety and cost, and direct apprentice work when needed. Participate in all required safety meetings and analyze measuring data using frame machines. This role supports Crash Champions' vision of superior collision repair across 650 locations, with compensation on a commission/flag rate structure ranging from $65,000 to $151,380 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use frame machine
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
