Job Summary
Auto Body Technician at Crash Champions: Examines damaged vehicles and plans repair, communicates repair status with team, and performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind. Makes repair-vs-replace decisions considering safety, cost, and cycle time. Removes upholstery, electrical and hydraulic window equipment, and trim to gain access to damaged areas. Directs an apprentice when needed and explains procedures. Participates in safety meetings and uses frame machines and power/hand tools to finish surfaces. Responsible for supervising repair personnel when required and ensuring adherence to repair processes, safety, and quality standards. Eligible candidates may have body repair certification and I-CAR welding certification, and must pass a thorough background check. This role offers a commission/flag pay structure and comprehensive benefits.
