Job Summary
Examine damaged vehicles, efficiently plan repair processes, and perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status. Remove upholstery, accessories, and trim to access vehicle components, then file, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools. Communicate repair status with the team and make decisions on repair versus replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time. Direct apprentice work when needed by explaining procedures and answering questions. Participate in all required safety meetings and utilize frame machines to analyze measuring data. This role supports Crash Champions' mission of superior collision repair across 650+ locations, with compensation ranging from $65,000 to $158,940 annually on a commission/flag rate structure.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use frame machine
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
