Job Summary
Examine damaged vehicles, efficiently plan repair processes, and perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status. Remove upholstery, accessories, and trim to access vehicle components; file, grind, and sand surfaces using power and hand tools. Make decisions on repair versus replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time. Communicate repair status with colleagues and direct apprentice work on unusual problems. Participate in all required safety meetings and interpret measuring data. This role supports Crash Champions' mission to deliver superior collision repair service across 650 locations in 38 states.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use frame machine
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
