Job Summary
Examine damaged vehicles to efficiently plan repair processes, then perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical, and hydraulic window equipment to access vehicle components, and file, grind, and sand surfaces using power and hand tools. Communicate repair status with others and make decisions on repair versus replace based on safety, cost, and cycle time. Direct apprentice work when needed to explain procedures and solve unusual problems. Participate in all required safety meetings and analyze interpreting measuring data. This role supports Crash Champions, the largest multi-shop operator of high-quality collision repair, serving over 650 locations across 38 states.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use frame machine
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
