Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning repair process, coordinating with others on vehicle repair status, performing quality repairs with on-time status in mind, making repair-vs-replace decisions based on safety, cost, and cycle time, removing upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders, participating in safety meetings, grinding and sanding repaired surfaces with power and hand tools, and directing the work of an apprentice when needed; certification in body repair and related技能 (I-CAR welding) are relevant credentials.
Required Qualifications
- I-CAR welding certified
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
