Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning repairs, and performing quality collision repairs to meet on-time status goals. Responsibilities include communicating repair status with the team, deciding between repair vs. replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time; removing upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access damaged areas; participating in safety meetings; grinding and sanding repaired surfaces with power and hand tools; directing an apprentice when needed and explaining procedures. Certifications such as I-CAR welding and body repair certification are preferred, with knowledge of the vehicle repair process by manufacturer. The role is paid on a commission/flag pay structure and includes a comprehensive benefits package; posted pay ranges from $65,000 to $160,740 annually. Required Qualifications
