Job Summary
Examine damaged vehicles, plan repair processes, and perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status. Remove upholstery, electrical, and trim components to access vehicle areas; file, grind, and sand surfaces using power and hand tools. Make decisions on repair versus replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time. Communicate repair status with team members and direct apprentice work when needed. Participate in required safety meetings and analyze measuring data. This role supports Crash Champions' vision of superior collision repair across 650 locations, with a posted minimum annual pay of $65,000.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use frame machine
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
