Job Summary
Auto Body Technician role at Crash Champions responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning repairs, and delivering high-quality collision repair services. Responsibilities include coordinating with team on repair status, deciding between repair vs. replace with safety and cost in mind, removing upholstery and related components to access areas, attending safety meetings, shaping surfaces with grinders and sanders, and directing an apprentice when needed while explaining procedures. Requires framing equipment experience, body repair certification (preferred), I-CAR welding certification, knowledge of manufacturer repair processes, data interpretation, supervisory capability, and successful background check. Compensation includes commissions/flag pay with a guaranteed local minimum wage, plus comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications

- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
