Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning and performing repairs, communicating repair status with teammates, and ensuring on-time delivery. Roles include deciding on repair vs. replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time; removing upholstery, accessories, electrical/hydraulic components to access damage; performing surface finishing (grinding/sanding) with power and hand tools; directing an apprentice when needed; and contributing to safety meetings. Required skills include frame machine operation, I-CAR welding knowledge, vehicle repair process familiarity, data interpretation of measuring data, and supervisory capability; certification in body repair is preferred. The role operates within Crash Champions’ collision repair network and offers a commission/flag pay structure with competitive benefits.
Required Qualifications
