Perform frame and body repairs on damaged vehicles, using a frame machine and power/hand tools; communicate repair status with teammates; ensure on-time completion; evaluate repair vs. replace decisions based on safety, cost, and cycle time; remove upholstery, accessories, electrical/hydraulic components to access repair areas; participate in safety meetings; supervise an apprentice when needed and explain procedures; inspect and finish repaired surfaces to meet quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use frame machine
- Certification in body repair preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- I-CAR welding certified
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
