Responsible for deciding between repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time; removes upholstery and components to access areas; participates in safety meetings; files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces; may direct an apprentice when needed and explain procedures. Requires frame-machine use, I-CAR welding certification, and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes; background check required; eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k with match, referral bonus, paid holidays; position is commission/flag pay with guaranteed minimum wage where applicable; typical annual pay ranges from $65,000 to $147,960.
Required Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
