Job Summary
Examine damaged vehicles to efficiently plan repair processes and make decisions on repair versus replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time. Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status, including removing upholstery, electrical equipment, and trim to access vehicle components. Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using power and hand tools while communicating repair status with the team. Participate in required safety meetings and direct the work of apprentices when addressing unusual problems or explaining procedures. This role is part of Crash Champions, the largest multi-shop operator of high-quality collision repair, which also operates the LUXE | EV Certified brand. The position includes a commission/flag rate structure with a posted minimum pay rate of $65,000 annually and offers medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use frame machine
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
