Job Summary
Examine damaged vehicles, efficiently plan repair processes, and perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical, and hydraulic equipment to gain access, then file, grind, and sand surfaces using power and hand tools. Communicate repair status with colleagues and make decisions on repair versus replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time. Direct apprentice work on unusual problems or questions as needed. Participate in all required safety meetings. This role supports Crash Champions, the largest founder-led multi-shop operator of high-quality collision repair in the U.S., which also operates the LUXE | EV Certified brand.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use frame machine
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
