Job Summary
Performs collision repair on damaged vehicles, plans repair process, communicates repair status, and makes decisions on repair vs. replacement by considering safety, cost, and cycle time. Uses frame machine and power tools, removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to gain access to areas, and directs an apprentice when needed. Participates in safety meetings, and analyzes measuring data to ensure repairs meet quality standards and on-time targets.
Required Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
