Job Summary
Examine damaged vehicles to efficiently plan repair processes and make decisions on repair versus replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time. Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status, including grinding, sanding, and using power tools to access vehicle components. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical, and hydraulic equipment as needed. Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status, directing apprentice tasks when unusual problems arise. Participate in all required safety meetings and utilize frame machines to analyze measuring data. Submit applications with certification in body repair and I-CAR welding certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use frame machine
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
