Job Summary
Auto Body Technician at Crash Champions responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning repair processes, communicating repair status, and performing quality repairs to maintain on-time status. Duties include making decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time; removing upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders; participating in safety meetings; files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with power and hand tools; directing an apprentice as needed and explaining procedures to assistants. Requires ability to use a frame machine, knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer, and I-CAR welding certification. Strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and adherence to standards; background check required. Required Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
