Job Summary
Examine damaged vehicles to efficiently plan repair processes, making critical decisions on repair versus replace based on safety, cost, and cycle time. Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status, including removing upholstery, electrical systems, and trim to access vehicle components. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using both power and hand tools. Communicate repair status with team members and direct apprentice work when addressing unusual problems or explaining procedures. Participate in all required safety meetings. This role supports Crash Champions' mission to deliver superior collision repair service across 650+ locations, with compensation structured on a commission/flag rate basis ranging from $65,000 to $161,460 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use frame machine
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
