Job Summary
Auto Body Technician at Crash Champions responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning repair processes, coordinating with team, performing quality repairs on time, deciding between repair vs. replacement considering safety and cost, removing components to access areas, participating in safety meetings, sanding/grinding, and supervising an apprentice when needed to resolve unusual problems. Requires frame machine use, body repair certification preferred, I-CAR welding certification, knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer, data interpretation skills, and ability to supervise repair personnel. Competitive benefits and a commission/flag pay structure are noted; posted pay range is $65,000–$159,300 per year. Location: Akron, OH (onsite).
Required Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Must be able to supervise repair personnel
