Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning repairs, and performing quality repairs with on-time status in mind. Responsibilities include communicating repair status, deciding between repair vs. replace based on safety, cost, and cycle time, removing upholstery/electrical/trim to access areas, participating in safety meetings, and directing an apprentice when needed. Must use frame machinery, have knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturers, and hold I-CAR welding certification; certification in body repair is preferred. Demonstrated ability to analyze measuring data and supervise repair personnel. Background check required.
