Auto Body Technician responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning repair processes, communicating repair status with the team, performing quality repairs with on-time focus, deciding between repair vs. replace based on safety, cost, and cycle time, removing upholstery and related components to access areas, using frame machines and hand/power tools, directing an apprentice when needed, and participating in safety meetings; certifications in body repair and I-CAR welding are relevant qualifications, and familiarity with vehicle repair processes by manufacturers is required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use frame machine
- Certification in body repair preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- I-CAR welding certified
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
