Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for examining damaged vehicle, planning repairs, performing quality repairs, deciding repair vs replace, removing upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders; directs the work of an apprentice when needed; participates in safety meetings; uses frame machine; maintains on-time status and safety in all repairs.
Required Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
