Job Summary
Auto Body Technician at Crash Champions responsible for examining damaged vehicles and planning repairs, performing quality repairs with on-time status in mind, deciding between repair vs. replace based on safety, cost, and cycle time, removing upholstery and components to access damaged areas, participating in safety meetings, and directing the work of an apprentice when needed. Requires ability to use a frame machine; I-CAR welding certification and body repair knowledge preferred. Compensation includes a commission/flag pay structure with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k with match, referral bonus, holidays, and competitive pay in the $65k–$160k range.
Required Qualifications
- Certification in body repair preferred
- I-CAR welding certified
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Ability to supervise repair personnel
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
