Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning and executing repairs, communicating repair status, and ensuring on-time completion. Role involves performing quality repairs, deciding between repair vs. replace based on safety and cost, removing upholstery and related components to access structural areas, participating in safety meetings, and guiding an apprentice when needed. Must have experience with frame machines, power and hand tools, and be capable of supervising repair personnel. Certification in body repair is preferred and I-CAR welding certification is required. Training and safety compliance are emphasized, with a comprehensive benefits package and commission/flag pay structure included.
