Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning repair processes, performing quality collision repairs, and ensuring on-time completion. Responsibilities include removing upholstery and related components to access damaged areas, directing apprentices, filing/grinding/sanding repaired surfaces, and deciding between repair vs. replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time. The role requires use of a frame machine, welding certification, familiarity with vehicle repair procedures, safety participation, and the ability to supervise repair personnel. Compensation is based on a flag-rate/commission structure within a typical full-time schedule, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, a 401k with match, referral bonuses, holidays, and other company programs.
Required Qualifications
