Job Summary
Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage to prepare a 100% Repair Plan. Mend damaged body by hammering out dents and welding broken parts; ensure gaps and fits meet industry standards; remove damaged panels and replace parts as needed. Operate a variety of hand and power tools (welder, cutting torch, grinders, sanders, etc.); file, grind, and sand repaired surfaces; inspect and test drive to verify safety and quality compliance; comply with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Must read and follow work orders, plan work procedures, and maintain workmanship to minimize supplements and repair time. I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred; 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred; valid driver’s license required; strong customer service and teamwork orientation; Physical ability to perform duties and pass background checks.
