Job Summary
Disassemble vehicles to assist collision estimators in assessing damage and preparing a 100% repair plan. Mend damaged body by hammering out dents, filling gaps, welding broken parts, and reassembling panels after painting. Operate hand and power tools including welders, cutting torches, and spray guns to file, grind, and sand repaired surfaces. Repair or replace defective parts and inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Follow work orders for all operations and store removed parts to prevent damage. Comply with all standard operating procedures, safety rules, and guidelines while performing related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Successful completion of background check required
Desired Qualifications
- I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred
- 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred
