Job Summary
Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in creating 100% repair plans and identify all necessary repairs to minimize time and eliminate supplements. Operate hand and power tools including welders, cutters, and sanders to mend damaged body panels, ensuring gaps and fits meet industry standards. Remove and store upholstery, electrical, and hydraulic components to access damaged areas, then file, grind, and sand surfaces before transferring vehicles to the Paint Dept. Repair or replace defective parts, inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for compliance with safety and quality standards, and perform other related duties as assigned while adhering to all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Successful completion of background check required
Desired Qualifications
- I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred
- 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
