Job Summary
Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in assessing damage and preparing repair plans, then remove upholstery and electrical components to access damaged areas. Mend body panels by hammering, filling, and welding broken parts to industry standards, operating various hand and power tools including welders and spray guns. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning vehicles to the Paint Dept, while inspecting and test driving repaired cars to ensure safety and quality compliance. Comply with all standard operating procedures, safety rules, and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Successful completion of background check required
Desired Qualifications
- I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred
- 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
