Job Summary
Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in creating 100% repair plans and identify all necessary fixes to eliminate supplements. Operate hand and power tools including welders, cutting torches, and spray guns to mend body panels, ensure industry-standard gaps, and reassemble parts after painting. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before transferring vehicles to the Paint Department. Repair or replace defective components and inspect test drives to verify safety and quality compliance. Store removed parts on carts or cover them to prevent damage. Comply with all standard operating procedures, safety rules, and guidelines while performing other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Successful completion of background check required
Desired Qualifications
- I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred
- 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
