Job Summary
Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in creating 100% repair plans and identify all necessary fixes to minimize repair time. Operate hand and power tools including welders, cutting torches, and spray guns to mend body panels, ensuring gaps and fits meet industry standards. Remove and store damaged upholstery, electrical components, and seat equipment to access injury areas, then file, grind, and sand surfaces before painting. Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to verify compliance with safety and quality standards while adhering to all standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Successful completion of background check required
Desired Qualifications
- I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred
- 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
