Job Summary
Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in creating 100% repair plans and identify all necessary repairs to minimize time and eliminate supplements. Operate hand and power tools including welders, cutting torches, and spray guns to mend damaged body panels, ensuring gaps and fits meet industry standards. Remove upholstery, accessories, and electrical components to access damaged areas, then file, grind, and sand surfaces before handing vehicles to the Paint Dept. Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to verify safety and quality compliance. Comply with all standard operating procedures, safety rules, and guidelines while performing related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Successful completion of background check required
Desired Qualifications
- I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred
- 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
