Job Summary
Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in creating 100% repair plans and identify necessary fixes to minimize repair time. Remove upholstery, electrical components, and windows to access damaged areas, then mend bodywork by hammering, filling, welding, and reassembling panels to industry standards. Operate power tools including welders, cutting torches, and spray guns to repair or replace defective parts. File, grind, and sand surfaces before transferring vehicles to the Paint Department. Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to ensure safety and quality compliance. Comply with all standard operating procedures, safety rules, and guidelines while performing assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Successful completion of background check required
Desired Qualifications
- I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred
- 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
