Job Summary
Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in assessing damage and preparing 100% repair plans, ensuring all repairs are identified to minimize time. Operate hand and power tools including welders, cutting torches, and spray guns to mend damaged body, fill dents, and reassemble panels to industry standards. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning vehicles over to the Paint Dept. Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards. Complete disassembly of upholstery, electrical, and hydraulic components to gain access to damaged areas. Comply with all standard operating procedures, safety rules, and guidelines. Valid driver's license required; I-CAR or ASE certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Successful completion of background check required
Desired Qualifications
- I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred
- 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
