Job Summary
Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in assessing damage and preparing 100% repair plans. Mend damaged body by hammering out dents, filling gaps, welding broken parts, and reassembling panels after painting. Operate hand and power tools including welders, cutting torches, and spray guns to file, grind, and sand repaired surfaces. Remove upholstery, accessories, and electrical components to access damaged areas, then repair or replace defective parts. Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to verify compliance with safety and quality standards. Comply with all standard operating procedures, safety rules, and guidelines while ensuring repairs eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Successful completion of background check required
Desired Qualifications
- I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred
- 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
