Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for full collision repair work at Caliber's Wilmington, DE center. Responsibilities include blueprinting and executing repairs from fender repairs to frame rebuilds, panel and structural work, and quality reassembly to factory specs. Work is performed as part of a team with painters, estimators, and front-office staff; candidates must be physically capable of handling up to 50 lbs, use modern equipment, and pursue ongoing training (I-CAR, ASE). Competitive pay up to $26/hour with weekly pay, benefits, paid time off, and a strong emphasis on safety and career growth. Required Qualifications
- At least two years of experience turning wrecks into road-ready rides
- Frame and structural know-how; ability to pull, straighten, and square as needed
- No-shortcuts mentality; blueprint and repair to first-time-right standards
- Sharp eye for detail; precise repairs, tightened bolts, perfected welds, and thorough reassembly
- Physically fit; ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Team-first collaboration with painters, estimators, and front office staff
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. with no restrictions
- Full collision repair capability including panel and structural work
