Job Summary
Perform heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large area bodywork including Bondo repair on multiple vehicle panels. Operate state-of-the-art tools in high-tech Inspection Centers while adhering to safety protocols involving face shields, goggles, and protective garments. Maintain physical capability to lift up to 60 pounds independently and work in fast-paced production environments with potential exposure to extreme weather. Complete mandatory overtime as business needs require to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- possess a valid driver's license
- subject to an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- ability to work while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on our business needs
