Job Summary
Auto body repair apprenticeship role at Fix Auto Scottsdale. Assist with teardown of damaged vehicles for inspection, organize removed parts for Estimators and Parts staff, work directly with an A-Tech on disassembly and reassembly, and support light body repairs. Opportunity to progress toward becoming a B or A tech and to learn iCAR certifications as you advance. Key duties include teardown, parts organization, assisting with disassembly/reassembly, and performing related duties as assigned. Requires some body shop experience and completion of technical school or a 1-year apprenticeship, ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and capability to work in a noisy, odorous shop environment. In-person, Scottsdale, AZ location with full benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Must have some body shop experience
- Successful completion of technical school program OR a 1-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer
- Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
- Must be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections
- This is an apprenticeship so you can move forward and learn the repair processes and eventually move up to B or A tech
