Job Summary
Stanley Chevrolet Collision Center is seeking an Entry Level Collision Center Body Technician to join the Belfast, ME team. Responsibilities include assisting experienced body technicians with vehicle repairs, preparing vehicles for repair (disassembly, sanding, masking, basic panel preparation), assisting with replacing damaged parts and panels, learning proper repair procedures and safety practices, keeping the shop and tools organized, following instructions to complete tasks, inspecting vehicles and parts for damage and communicating findings to senior technicians or management, and supporting daily workflow and production needs. The role offers hands-on training, growth opportunities into a skilled body technician position, and a full-time schedule with benefits based on eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interest in collision repair, automotive body work, or the automotive industry.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Reliable transportation to work.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
