Job Summary
Auto Body Repair Technician performs light bodywork including prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles, removing and installing bumpers, minor plastic welding, and small-area bodywork such as Bondo repair. Role supports entry-level training programs and offers opportunities for pay progression, ASE and tool reimbursement programs, tuition reimbursement, and a vehicle purchase discount. Works in Carvana’s high-tech inspection centers with potential mandatory overtime to meet customer timelines; multiple progression tracks available from Entry-Level Prepper to Experienced Prepper with opportunities to train others and to pursue related auto body and auto technician roles across 18 locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions
- Use of safety equipment such as face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments
