Job Summary
Prep, sand, and buff vehicles; remove and install bumpers; perform minor plastic welding and small area bodywork including Bondo repair. Operate state-of-the-art tools in high-tech Inspection Centers while lifting up to 60 pounds independently. Maintain safety protocols using protective equipment like face shields and gloves in a fast-paced production environment. Requires valid driver's license, MVR check, and ability to work in varying weather conditions. Entry-level candidates receive training to progress skills and pay.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- possess a valid driver's license
- subject to an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- ability to work while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
