Job Summary
Sand, mask, tape, bag, unbag, and buff vehicles to prepare them for paint within high-tech Inspection Centers. Perform tear-downs and unbagging as part of the daily prep workflow. You will use state-of-the-art tools and safety equipment including face shields, goggles, and non-slip shoes. This role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently, and experience working in fast-paced production environments with potential exposure to extreme heat or cold. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs to ensure vehicles are delivered when expected.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience
- ASE and tool reimbursement programs
- Tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- possess a valid driver's license
- Some positions may be subject to an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- An ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check
