Job Summary
Prep, sand, and buff vehicles; remove and install bumpers; perform minor plastic welding and small area bodywork including Bondo repairs. Operate vehicle equipment and tools while lifting up to 60 pounds independently in a fast-paced production environment. Use safety equipment including face shields, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, and masks. Work night shift, four days a week, with mandatory overtime based on business needs. Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- possess a valid driver's license
- Some positions may be subject to an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- An ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
