Job Summary
Disassemble, inspect, and assess vehicles for hidden damage, then reassemble them following company blueprinting procedures and disassembly protocols. Document additional damage and required parts on reports, notify estimators of supplements, and assist with metal reassembly, including light finishing, sanding, and minor bumper repairs. Replace final moldings, trim, and detail pieces while performing assigned duties safely. Requires at least one year of auto body repair experience, ability to lift up to 80lbs, and physical stamina for extended periods of kneeling and squatting. Paid training in industry certifications is provided, with growth opportunities within the company.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of auto body repair experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- HS Diploma or GED
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and work orders
- Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel and pull
- Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect repairs
- Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)
- Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment
- Performing repetitive motions
Desired Qualifications
- Auto Body Vo-Tech certification strongly preferred
