Job Summary
Manage a caseload of bodily injury and casualty claims from investigation through resolution by analyzing coverage, evaluating liability and damages, and negotiating settlements. Conduct thorough investigations regarding coverage, liability, and damages while researching applicable case law and state statutes to support evaluations. Document claim activity accurately, maintain complete claim files, and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective handling. Collaborate with claimants, attorneys, third parties, medical providers, and management throughout the process to prepare recommendations for settlement authority. Handle claims in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Work a hybrid schedule of three days in-office and two days remote after a 90-day training period.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Auto Bodily Injury and/or Casualty Claims experience
- Texas All-Lines Adjuster License
- Strong understanding of legal and medical terminology
- Experience investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving bodily injury claims
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience working in an automated claims processing environment
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, attorneys, vendors, and internal team members
- Knowledge of policy interpretation, claim procedures, state regulations, and fraud prevention practices
Desired Qualifications
- Multi-State Adjuster Licensing
- Non-Standard Auto Insurance experience
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred but not required)
