Job Summary
Autism Technician works 1:1 with children with autism in a clinic under the guidance of a BCBA, applying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach communication, social skills, daily living activities, and to reduce challenging behaviors. The role is clinic-based with no travel, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and includes ongoing supervision by a BCBA, training for RBT credential, and a $1000 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting data, writing session notes in real time, collaborating with the BCBA and clinic team, and maintaining client confidentiality. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- RBT exam must be taken within 3 months of employment
- Hold a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle liability coverage
- Experience in undergraduate coursework relating to special education/human services is preferred but not required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to utilize technology provided to perform requirements of the job
- Full range of body motion including the ability to stand, stoop, kneel, twist, reach, run, get up from a sitting position on the floor, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
